Actions speak louder than words in Roeser

12 / 06 / 2018
In Roeser, a small town in Southern Luxembourg, an international three-star show took place. Due to very bad weather conditions, the 1.55m Grand Prix on a grass had to be cancelled. The one-star GP took place earlier on the day and could continue. The victory went convincingly to a horse of Studbook Zangersheide. The Brazilian rider Pedro Malucelli Egoroff rode Umeunig (Untouchable Z x Chellano Z) to first place with two seconds ahead in the jump-off at 1.40m level. And that wasn’t the only place of honor Umeunig gained in Roesser, after Thursday’s second place and Friday’s third place.

The victory in the 1.40m accumulator went to the eight-year-old Copiapo Z (Calvaro Z) with Koen Vereecke in the saddle. For three days in a row this duo finished in the top three. They added two third places and a victory to their track record.

Kim Emmen and the Asca Z x Caretano Z-son, Ascatano Z, took second place in the 1.45m class with two phases. Chico Z (Clinton I x Quantum) and his Swedish lady rider Erika Lickhammer became second and fifth at 1.35m level.

To conclude: the performances of the Z horses again speak for themselves.
