Dominator Z clears his first ever GP!

09 / 10 / 2018
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Brunetti Z only put down clear rounds with Angelique Rüsen in the German youngster tour for six- and seven-year-old horses in Riesenbeck. Next to being clear, the six-year-old Brunetti Z was also qualified two out of three times! In Sunday’s final there was an unlucky dropdown in the jump-off for this stunning, modern son of Balous Bellini out of an Arpeggio dam. Brunetti’s grand dam is also the grand dam to Ferrari VI (Furosio II) who achieved good results in numerous GP and World Cups under Steve Guerdat.

Christian Ahlmann and the seven-year-old Z approved Zampano Z (Zandor Z x Cocktail Jet) completely copied Angelique and Brunetti’s results and even finished fourth on Saturday. Christian was also qualified with Dominator Z (Diamant de Semilly x Cassini I). The first day they participated in the first qualifier for the two-star Grand Prix at a height of 1.40m. A clear round in 63.11 seconds led them to 15th place. In his very first 1.50m GP, Dominator Z did what people expect of him: he let all bars up. Due to one pity penalty point for exceeding the time allowed, they weren’t advanced to the jump-off and ended up in 17th place.

Angelique Rüsen and the eight-year-old Zaza Z (Zandor Z x Caretano Z) performed strongly in the two-star small tour final at 1.40m level. With a double clear round in 31.89 seconds, they took sixth place. Zaza Z was bred by Stoeterij Zangersheide and is a daughter of Cocaine Z, who also gave birth to the Zangersheide stallions Crowntano Z and Corico Z.
