Ahlmann and Taloubet Z win World Cup Madrid

30 / 11 / 2015
In Madrid Christian Ahlmann won his second World Cup in a row. Last week he won the class in Stuttgart with Codex One, this time he did it with Taloubet Z, on which he won the World Cup Finals in 2011. Ahlmann is already certain of a place in the Finals. He so far jumped two World Cup classes; in Lyon he finished second, in Stuttgart and Madrid he came first. That earned him 57 points, which puts him in the lead of the World Cup ranking. A mere five riders had qualified for the jump-off. Carlos Lopez (Prince de la Mare), who won last year’s World Cup class in Madrid, now finished in second place. Pieter Devos (Dream of India Greenfield) finished third. Henrik Van Eckermann and Marco Kutscher both had the first fence down in the jump-off.
