03 / 12 / 2018
The first show of the Longines Masters series takes place in the French capital of Paris. Together with the competitions in Hong Kong and New York, the 'Grand Slam Indoor or Show Jumping' is one of the most prestigious equestrian events in the world. The rider who takes three consecutive Longines GP victories in one season receives a bonus of no less than €2.250.000!

In the CSI 1* GP the British lady rider Tess Carmichael secured the victory with Atlantis PP Z. This son of Air Jordan Z x Corofino I, bred by Andre Pieraets, crossed the finish almost 2 seconds faster than the ten other candidates in the jump-off. Sultan Hamood Al Touqi was placed fifth with Taloubetzeus K Z (sd: Lysander). Just as her sire Taloubet Z, this mare was bred by Cees Klaver. Ellie Guy finished in eighth place with the seven-year-old Camorra des Nonains Z (Calato Z x Galoubet A).

Laetitia Surin and Carlina des Vergers Z (Clapton VDL x Totoche du Banney) jumped to third place in the 1.35m class with two phases. Pierre Marie Friant also rode a clear round with Coco du Houlbec Z (Carrico x Cassini I), with a sixth place as result.

In the 1.45m class against the clock, the seventh place went to Christian Ahlmann and Atomic Z (Cumano x Chin Chin). By one time penalty, Penelope Leprevost finished tenth with Casual Z, a daughter of Cicero Z van Paemel out of an Andiamo Z dam.
