B Once Z wins GP qualifier Kiel

At the Baltic Horse Show in Kiel, Holstein, Katharina Offel won the qualifier for the GP over 1.50m. She rode her bay mare B Once Z (Baloubet du Rouet), bred by Nico Schulpen. Katharina Offel has been preparing the mare for some time already for the indoor season and she hopes to qualify for the WC finals.
At another show the Birmingham CSI3*, the British rider Jude Burgess won the Foxhunter Championship on Carvelo Z, a 7-yr-old gelding by Carthago Z, bred by Zangersheide. The Foxhunter Championship is a national 1.45m class in which the best riders in Great Britain start. Three Z-horses reached the top ten of this national GP, in seventh place finished Nicole Pavitt on Ultimate Z (Untouchable Z, bred by Ansgar Holtgers from Löningen, G) and in tenth place came Pronto van Overis Z (Pablo van Berkenbroeck, bred by Gerald Lenaerts from Peer, B) ridden by Joseph Clayton.
At the CSI2* in Assen, Julia Kayser finished fifth in the main class over 1.45m on Friday, the Rabobank Proef. She rode her loyal horse Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z (Caretano Z, bred by A. Romo from Garca Garcia, ME). Victory was for the American Andrew Ramsay on his horse with the fitting name Winn Winn.
