Conrad d’Esquelmes Z GP winner CSIO Buenos Aires

12 / 11 / 2012
The Z-licensed stallion Conrad d’Esquelmes Z (Canadian River) won the Grand Prix Ericsson under the Argentinian Martin Dopazo in Buenos Aires. The combination was the only one to stay clear and within the time in the jump-off over 1.55m. Conrad d’Esquelmes Z was bred by Daniel Maillart out of the same dam as Oxford d’Esquelmes (Leon Thijssen). The stallion also won the Cycles for 4- and 5-yr-olds. As a 7-yr-old he was started in the sport in Belgium by Brecht Bille and was then sold to Argentian. Conrad was not the only Zangersheide horses that managed to win in Buenos Aires. On Thursday the grand tour was won by Leandro Moschini, another Aregbtibian rider, on Gama Zarello Z (Zandor Z).  There were, as a matter of fact, a remarkable number of Zangersheide-registered horses at this show in South America
