Damora Z twice tenth

25 / 01 / 2013
Under the Italian stable rider of Neil Jones, Lorenzo de Luca, the mare Unex Damora Z (Dutch Capitol x Chellano Z) appeared in the spotlights more often last year. Meanwhile the 9-yr-old mare is stabled in Wellington, at her owner’s, Tim Gredley. In three Grand Prix the mare has gone clear twice so far, which each time resulted in a tenth place. During week three of the Winter Equestrian Festival the Z-horses jumped into the limelight yet again. On Thursday, for example, after a double clear round, there was an eighth place for Carlos VHP Z (Chellano Z), who is now ridden by Nick Dello Joio, but is still owned by Emilie Martinsen. In the 8-yr-olds there was a third place for Todd Minikus on Catch Me Z, owned by the Belgian Carl Brems. In the 7-yr-olds Classic Brown Z finished fifth under Ezequiel Peralta. The day before the same place was claimed by Win For Life 111 Z (Winningmood), bred by Harrie Theeuwes and ridden by Christine McCrea.
