Danish Warmblood Horse gives two Z-stallions green light

07 / 02 / 2013
The Danish Warmblood Horse has licensed two showjumping stallions after a 35 day performance test which has recently ended. It is no coincidence that they are both Zangersheide registered. Winner of the performance test was Cantor de la Vie Z (Clinton x Heartbreaker). This 4-yr-old stallion is out of Tuut Tuut and therefore the full brother of the SF-licensed and very popular sire Consul de la Vie Z. Haras de la Vie is the reputable studfarm of Erik Goossens from Drongen, who end of last year was the victim of a very serious accident, but has since decided not to give up his breeding activities just like that. The other stallion licensed in Denmark is L’Etoile Z (Arc de Triomphe), bred in Germany by Harald Gassen from the line of, for example Lantaan, Quaprice Z, Cadillac (D. Deusser) and Cooper vd Heffinck (O. Philippaerts). L’Etoile Z was sold at the foal auction at Zangersheide for an amount of 20,000 euro and at the 2011 AOS auction in Germany even fetched 260,000 euro. Also four dressage stallions were licensed.
