Dutch team wins Nations Cup thanks to Chat Botte du Ruisseau Z

16 / 07 / 2018
The fifth leg of the Division 1 Nations Cup in the Swedish Falsterbo could be called extremely exciting. As many as 4 countries managed to limit their total score to 4 penalty points after two rounds. This ensured that both the Dutch, Irish, Italian and Swedish team had to appoint one rider to settle the all-deciding jump-off. Herefore the Dutch Chef d’Equipe Rob Ehrens chose the debuting combination Johnny Pals and Chat Botte du Ruisseau Z. This approved son of Casall ASK was bred by Andre Vandepapeliere and repeatedly jumped to top rankings this year!

In the lightning fast jump-off, Italy started off with a great fast round but was immediately improved by home country Sweden. Johnny Pals gave everything with his Chat Botte du Ruisseau Z and managed to take over the lead again. Unfortunately for the Irishman Daniel Coyle he couldn’t quite match Pals's time of 39.33 seconds and with that the Dutch won, thanks to a Z-horse, for the second year in a row in the Swedish seaside resort!
