In all kind of competitions Zangersheide was placed at the top last weekend. Closeby, in Kuringen, Chaouki Rijnders won the very first CSI2* GP of Hasselt van ’t Woutershof on Cas de Liberté Z (Cracky Z) from Wim Malisart and Jan Van Tricht. In Vlamertinge the American Lindsay Douglass won the small GP on Butterfly Tibri Z (Berlin), bred by Aster Pieters. In de Ranking class on Saturday Bart Bomeré won on Via vd Karmenhoek Z (Via Veneto), bred and owned by Divano BVBA and Toshiki Masui finished second in a ranking class on Taloubet Darco K Z (Taloubet Z) bred by Cees Klaver. Not just in its own country but also at the most prestigious international competitions Z claimed places right to the top. The Zandor Z son Royalty des Isles won the 1.55m series on Saturday in the very chique CSI5* of Gaston Glock in Treffen (Austria) under Lauren Hough. In the Youngster Finals on Sunday final victory went to Marcus Ehning on the Z-licensed Again du Toultia (Mr. Blue) from Fabien Schreiber. At the Global Champions Tour in Chantilly there was a fifth place for Athina Onassis on the grey of her dreams Camille Z (Cumano) from E. van Dewiele. Again this lady rider had nothing but time faults. Rolf-Göran Bengtsson won on Casall ASK. One day later Cameron Hanley won the final 1.50m class on Antello Z (Andiamo II Z), which earned him more than 15,000 euro. Here, as well, Zangersheide claimed the top in the Youngster Finals in which Gudrun Patteet jumped a very fast double clear on her stallion Sea Coast Diamant Z (ex-Diamant Star de Tiji Z) from Tiji stables. In La Coruna, Spain, at the CSI4* Casas Novas David Will won a 1.45m class on the Levisto Z son Lesthago.
