Papillon Z does it again
In the jump-off of the four star GP of Mons Jerome Guery and Papillon Z (bred by H. Guisson) were last to go. Nicolas Delmotte (Number One d'Iso Un Prince, Baloubet du Rouet) had been in the lead until then, three seconds ahead of the rest of the riders. And then it was Guery’s turn, who did exactly what the public expected: he won. Jerome and Papillon Z finished even 15/100 faster than Delmotte. For Guery and Papillon Z this was the third GP victory in a row, after Lummen and Knokke last week. Guery is in top form. He also won two 1.50m classes in Mons.

Cicero Z son victorious in GP Arnheim At Papendal in Arnheim Albert Zoer won the freakish GP of Outdoor Gelderland. On his grey Gigolo, by Cicero van Paemel Z, Zoer upgraded his last year’s results when he finished second on Abakadabra. Only three of the 45 combinations reached the jump-off, after a delay because of the gusty wind. They all had a fault.

Cigane Z and Bart Clarys win the Belgian Cup The Belgian Cup was won by Bart Clarys and Best Mix Cigane Z (Contact vd Heffinck, bred by R. Maes), on which he had already won the first qualifier on Friday. In the signidicant finals you have to jump a double clear in order to reach the platform. This class has had this same scenario for several years. In second place came the Brazilian Guilherme Mattar on Fortuna de Laubry. The third place was for the local Young Rider Yentl Baert on Fantast vh Indihof.
