Happy Z and Ceasar B Z win American Grand Prix

17 / 06 / 2013
The more than a hundred years old Grand Prix of Upperville (Virginia) was won last week by the Venezuelan Angel Karolyi on Amigo. The gelding was originally called Ceasar B. Z and descends from Coriano Z and the international mare Ulme II, better known as Burg’s Samantha, the Olympic mare of Bert Romp. Stal Burg from Hoogeloon is also the breeder of the horse. Mathijs van Asten trained him and still jumped him into third place last January over 1.50m at Jumping Amsterdam. Last weekend Wilhelm Genn scored his umpteenth victory on Happy Z (High Valley Z), a breeding product of Studfarm Zangersheide out of Anais Anais Z (Alme Z). This time they did the job in Wayne, Illinois.
