Harry Allen wins first ranking class in Sentower Park

At age 17, Harry Allen, the younger brother of Bertram Allen, managed to win his very first Longines ranking class in Opglabbeek. Therefore he relied on Cheese W Z, a ten-year-old stallion of Chatman x Galoubet A who now performs with Harry at a height of 1.45m-1.50m.

Kristian Houwen also took a 1.20m leveled victory with Taloubest Vm Z, a son of Taloubet Z x Chin Chin. In the closing class for five-year-olds, the third place went to Excalibur Sr Z (Elvis ter Putte x Carthago Z) and the Czech Jan Maly. Lara Postillon from France finished fourth with Ethic Z (E.T. Cryozootech Z x Clown du Chesnay).

At the six-year-olds Sofia Westborg was again successful and gained a second place with Concordia Z of Chiquitano x Zandor Z. In these youngster classes there was also a second place for Coral Beach Z (Chellano Z x Cornet Obolensky) and Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi. This rider from the United Arab Emirates also took third place in the 1.30m leveled one-star Grand Prix with the ten-year-old Al Bariz (Berlin x Kashmir van Schuttershof).

Besides a victory at a height of 1.35m, Francisco Rocha and the twelve-year-old mare C Berriz Z (Coltaire Z x Naturel) took home two second places. Both rider and mare have Portuguese roots. At this level Viktor Daem became third with the AES approved Ghost Z (Game Boy D 10 x Quentucky). Melanie Gelin and her 6-year-old Attoucha Hero Z of Aganix du Seigneur Z out of Gatoucha van 't Roosakker (Diamant de Semilly) were two times placed sixth during the last outdoor CSI of Sentower Park in 2018.
