Heidi du Ruisseau Z and Chocola Z missed GP-win by an inch

28 / 05 / 2013
In the CSI2* Bonheiden IGregory Wathelet snatched the victory from Zangersheide and the American Andrew Ramsay who in turn could boast the second-best time on Chocola Z (Carthago Z). A product of the Dutch Hijmans family from Moordrecht, this horse frequently drew a lot of attention as a young horse under Mischa Everse-Van Der Kraats at the World Championships in Lanaken. In La Boissière Australia turned out to be the unexpected winner. The British Sam Hutton came in second on Heidi du Ruisseau Z (Heartbreaker), a horse which was brought on by the Belgian champion Jerome Guery. On Friday this same combination also put its name down for a sixth place in the 1.45m class. In Saturday´s 1.35m class in Haras de Bory Britain scooped a first prize with the combination Lara Whiteway and Obelix Z (Ovatio). On Friday the Belgian Dominique Joassin jumped his Apollo Z (Amoroso vd Helle) to second position in the class for 6-year-olds.
