Jonkheer Z eleventh in WC finals

29 / 04 / 2013
With two times four faults on Sunday in the denouement of the WC finals, the West American rider Karl Cook climbed up to eleventh place in the finals. All the way he could rely on his loyal horse Jonkheer Z (Jet Set D x Skippy II), bred by the Hayen family. Jonkheer Z stood for a while in Belgium at the stallion station from Karel Boonen before being exported via Tal Milstein to the USA. Also Ludo Philippaerts and Charlie Jayne jumped a Z-bred horse, both by Chellano Z, and reached the last round, which, however, presented a bottleneck to both. Ludo eventually finished fifteenth on Challenge vd Begijnakker Z from Bart Keisse and Charlie Jayne finished seventeenth on Chill R Z, bred by Ludo Tielen. Christian Ahlmann and our stallion Taloubet Z did not reach the finals, but took their revenge in the Grand Prix. On Saturday night they finished sixth in the GP with one fault but a fast time in the jump-off. In the margin there was also a Young Riders competition in Göteborg. There Capitano Paul Z (Cartano Z) helped his rider Victoria Wallenstam, a major sponsor in the WC finals, to victory.
