Jérome Guéry first and third in the FEI Zangersheide Sires of the World

16 / 09 / 2016
Jérôme Guéry dominated the Sires of the World from the start until the end. After a delicate course the Belgian Olympic rider qualified his two stallions for the jump off. He immediately took the lead with his new stallion Garfield de Tiji des Templiers (Quasimodo Z) but Arthur da Silva on Inonstop vh Voorhof (Nonstop) improved the time. But on Alicante Jérôme went even faster. Ramzy al Duhami finished fourth on Garlic van Kapelhof (Tauber van ‘t Kapelhof) and Christian Ahlmann landed on fifth place with Caribis Z (Caritano Z).

Guéry : ”Yesterday I won the warming up without going for the victory. I didn’t go fast and winning the warming up was not my goal. Of course I wanted to win the Grand Prix today and I knew it was possible with Alicante. I covered my four mares are covered by him. He has a lot of power and is very sharp and sensitive. He is a pretty horse and his father is Casall. A stallion who proved what he’s worth in sport. Last week three sons of Casall were qualified for the jump off of the Global Champions Tour in Rome.”
