02 / 03 / 2015
Judy Ann Melchior and As Cold As Ice Z jumped three World Cups and stayed clear in all three; in Madrid, Mechelen and now in Goteborg, where the twelfth and last World Cup competition was ridden Judy-Ann and Ice were even in the lead for a while, until in the end Olympic champion Steve Guerdat (Albfuehren's Paille) rode the fastest round. He won the last World Cup and also finished in leading position in the World Cup ranking. Rolf Goran Bengtsson (Casall ASK) claimed the second place, followed by Marco Kutscher (Cornet's Cristallo) and Jur Vrieling (Zirocco Blue). Fifth place on the ranking was for Judy-Ann Melchior. Just before the World Cup class in Goteborg she won the Future Challenge Finals. In the jump-off her 7-yr-old Lover Boy Z (Level Z) from her own breeding finished faster than Sandra Carlsson (Brenda Lee) and Ludger Beerbaum on A Corrada. Also last year Lover Boy Z, grandson of Levisto Z, had jumped clear in the BC in Gesves, which resulted in a fifth place. At the WC in Lanaken he had also gone clear.
