At the Zangersheide breeding day in Mechelen Dominator 2000 Z (Diamant de Semilly) and Judy Ann Melchior stole the show. Judy Ann also rode Comilfo Plus Z (Comme Il Faut), bred in Germany by Walter and Stephan Schmidt, in the 7-yr-olds and he also made a deep impression. In the 6-yr-olds Mike Van Olst also made it to the jump-off on the Lanaken born Cooper I Z (Chellano Z), which earned them a sixth place. The top five in the Leon Melchior Sires of the World for 8-yr-old and older stallions was also reached. Titleholder Christian Ahlmann was the fastest rider and with one fault in the jump-off finished fifth on Carribis Z (Caritano Z). Lorenzo de Luca won on Halifax vh Kluizebos (Heartbreaker), after also writing two classes in London to their name.

In the KBC Trophy at 1.50m on Wednesday the winner was Simon Delestre after an extraordinary hard jump-off against Jérôme Guery and Harrie Smolders on their Z-horses Papillon Z (Perhaps) and Don VHP Z (Diamant de Semilly), bred by Helga Guisson and Guy De Schuymer.
