Little Lady Z wins 1.60m class in Lyon

04 / 11 / 2013
Christian Ahlmann defended the blue-yellow of Zangersheide in Lyon with enthusiasm. On Saturday he won a class in which the fences stood at 1.60m and the class had two phases. He did this on Little Lady Z (Laptop), a 12-yr-old mare which had been started by Michael Whitaker until several years ago, after which she was sold to Studfarm Zangersheide. The day before there had also been a fourth place for Ahlman and his “Little Lady” in a 1.50m class. The GP almost went to a Z-horse, as well. Citizenguard Cadjanine Z (Canabis Z), a Belgian breeding product from Pol Brison, clocked off in the winning time under Rodrigo Pessoa in the jump-ff, but they had one fence down. Eventually they finished in sixth place. There were also high places for, amongst others, Q Royal Palm Z (Quidam de Revel) and Casilias Z (Cento Lano).
