Papillon Z second in Spring Tour Lummen

Zangersheide is not only doing well in its own Z-Tour, but also in the Spring Tour in Lummen. Rik Hemeryck secured another platform place for a Z-horse there. On Papillon Z (Perhaps vh Molenvondel) he finished second in a GP qualifier on Friday, which was won by Shane Breen. On Thursday Jules Van Roosbroeck and his top-class horse Cabriolet Z (Calvaro Z) had finished third in the big tour. Kim Thiry finished in sixth place on the only 8-yr-old Calienta Z (Chellano Z). On Saturday he placed his other Chellano daughter NCS Chelsea Z seventh in the 1.40m class in the Garden Arena. In the young horse finals it was the Lanaken World Champion Gangster de Longchamps (Orlando) who claimed victory. Dominique Hendrickx on Cas de Liberté Z (Cracky Z), Aymeric de Ponnat on Qapitano des Hayettes Z (Quartz Adelheid Z) and Maarten Driessen on U Turn MH Z (Untouchable Z) finiahes sixth, seventh and tenth respectively, after all three combinations had stayed clear in both rounds. In addition, three Z-horses finished in the top ten of the CSI1*-finals. Stefan Corten came second on Challenge Z (Carthago Z). Marit Skollerud finished in fourth place on C Zamino Z (Chellano Z). Julie-Pascale Ruant and Picobello Copy Z (Carthago Z) also made it to the jump-off in spite of one fault and finished in ninth place. In the finals for 5-yr-olds on Saturday in the Derby Arena there was a third place for Colino van Westleven Z (Crown Z) under Julien Denayer.
