17 / 10 / 2017
Tobago Z (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, breeder Jonas Bellemans) and Courage T Z (by Calvino Z, breeder H.A. van Triest) coloured the Norwegian podium of the Oslo Grand Prix. Under Daniel Deusser the stallion Tobago Z jumped to victory. He thereby only just beat his studbook colleague Courage T Z. Both Tobago Z and his dam Whoopie C are performing at Grand Prix level.

More good news came in the first World Cup qualifier in Oslo from Quivive S Z (by Quasimodo Z, breeder Peter Simons) and Quickchin WH Z (by Quidam de Revel, breeder Christophe Wouters). Under Eric van der Vleuten Quivive S Z claimed, amongst other achievements, a sixth place in the 1.40m and a third in 1.45m class. Quickchin WH Z and Karel Cox only just missed victory in the high jumping class, where they stayed in the jump-off and eventually finished in second place.

In Beijing, China, there was a World Cup qualifier with guest riders. The Olympic Bird’s Nest served as background for the three star competition in which Cinetto Z (by Canabis Z, breeder N.V. Jean Custers) under guest rider Christian Ahlmann finished third in the last GP. The Chinese Quanwei Meng jumped Chronos van Sappenleen Z (by Contendro I, breeder Maggy Longuepee) into seventh place.

And also in Le Mans and Michalowice Studbook Zangersheide was represented on the podium of the two star Grand Prix. Alemeria Z (by Asca Z) bred by Frans Liefsoens and ridden by Timothee Anciaume finished in second place. In Michalowice, Poland, Taloubetbonte K Z (by Taloubet Z, breeder Cees Klaver) did the honours with a third place in the CSI2* under the Polish Mscciwoj Kiecon.
