Silver with a Z rim

A fantastic European Championship was crowned by Harrie Smolders with a silver medal. On the final day Smolders, riding Don VHP Z (by Diamant de Semilly, bred by Guy de Schuymer) moved up from a ninth place to the European silver. This was a tremendous achievement, both from Smolders and Don VHP Z.

Also Cas de Liberte Z and Chaqui Z finished in the top ten of the European Championship in Göteborg. Cas de Liberte Z (by Cracky Z), a breeding product from Studfarm 't Kelshof, was rewarded for his fine performance under Niels Bruynseels with the seventh place.

Immediately behind him finished Shane Sweetman and Chaqui Z (by Chacco Blue). This was the second medal for the breeding product from the Morsink family in the EC, after Sweetman and Chaqui earlier won gold with the Irish team.
