Six bars Olympia for Emanuele Gaudiano

19 / 12 / 2017
Emanuele Gaudiano and Jamar d'Ysenbeeck Z (Jah Diamant x Quidam de Revel) were the only ones who stayed clear in the fourth round of the six bars in London’s Olympia. The Italian and the eleven-year-old bay stallion took away the victory of Geir Gulliksen. Gaudiano only rides Jamar d'Ysenbeeck Z since November. After Munchen, Madrid and Paris, this was their fourth competition together. The story of Jamar d’Ysenbeeck Z is remarkable. When he was five, he was diagnosed with a severe injury and stood still for four years. Jamar d’Ysenbeeck Z was not fit to compete anymore, but in the meantime the stallion, bred by Herlinde De Conick, performs strongly at five-star level!

Beside Emanuele Gaudiano, also home rider John Whitaker won a class. In the 1.45 m accumulator he was unbeatable with Leen O.L., who formerly named Bellissima Z. This mare of Berlin x Kannan is bred by Koen de Waele of KDW Horses from Maldegem.

Simon Delestre was placed third in the jump-off on 1.60 m. He jumped with Teavanta II C Z, an offspring of Treasure Z out of an Ahorn mother. The breeder of Teavanta II C Z is Pieter Coppes from Bergharen. Until recently this mare was ridden by the Ukrainian Oleksandr Onyshchenko and the Dutch Ruben Romp.
