Solid Gold Z, winner in Bordeaux

06 / 02 / 2018
The Zangersheide representative Solid Gold Z was the best stallion in Bordeaux during the Young Sires Masters. Together with his rider Christian Alhmann, the seven-year-old breathtaking appearance left the competition far behind. With all the bars untouched and two seconds ahead, the victory clearly went to the Z stables.

Solid Gold Z is bred by Gestut Sprëhe from Löningen. In 2013, the dark brown stallion had been awarded best stallion of his generation during the Oldenburg stallion show. At the following auction sale Stoeterij Zangersheide did not miss their chance and secured this promising champion.

The dam of Solid Gold Z, Callinda Z, is bred by Paul Schockemöhle. She is the sister of the 1.60m horses Rimini Z (Ramiro Z) who participated for Greece in the WEG in Aachen and the Olympic Games of Athens and Castronom Z (Carthago Z), the former GP horse of Kevin Staut. Besides Solid Gold Z, Callinda Z is also the mother of the international showjumping horses KN Seicalla (Seidon) and Cevin Costner (Chico's Boy).

Next to the victory of Solid Gold Z, there was also a fourth place for Tobago Z and Daniel Deusser in the 1.40m class against the clock. This ten-year-old stallion from Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve and Mr. Blue is bred by Jonas Bellemans from Affligem. During the last edition of Jumping Mechelen Tobago Z won the Open Sires of the World.
