22 / 05 / 2017
In the three heaviest shows of the week Asca Z always supplied a winner. In Madrid in the Global Champions Tour Daniel Bluman won the final class Copa del Rey 1.55m on Bacara d'Archonfosse (Asca Z). In Lexington Armani SL Z (Asca Z) was the best on Thursday in the highest class under Eugenio Garza. On Friday, in Nörten-Hardenberg, Christian Kukuk from the Beerbaum team was the fastest rider in the Grand Tour and he did this on Alena 52 (ex-Alena-V Z), born in the Netherlands at mr Veltmans. The same horse also finished fourth in another 1.45m class. Bacara, bred by Frédéric Decroly, also claimed a third place in Madrid. Armani van Second Life Z was, of course, bred by Thierry Hendrickx.

In the CSI2* there was a big win for the Cicero Z son Jackpot under François Wery. This only 8-yr-old gelding gave a superb performance to finish fifth in the Longines Ranking class on Saturday night. Angelica Hero Z (Aganix du Seigneur Z) bred by Luc Henry finished third in the finals for 5-yr-olds under Christophe Vanderhasselt
