Top 3 classification for C Hunter in 4* GP Wiesbaden

11 / 06 / 2019
With exactly 13 clears out of 37 entrees, the game was on in the jump-off of the 1.60m Longines Grand Prix in Wiesbaden. Among the contenders was the American Lucas Porter with C Hunter (C-Hunter de Nyze Z). This stallion by Cassini II out of the 1.60m show jumper Absie (VDL Corland) was bred by Danny Nijs from Arendonk. Also in the jump-off, Lucas and C Hunter rode a clear round in 48.80 seconds, which was good for third place.

The offspring of Zandor Z stood out in the classes for seven and eight-year-old horses. Eventing rider Michael Jung finished in second place with Zandro de Laubry Z (sd: Calato Z; b: Haras de Laubry), after they already became eighth and fifth in the previous classes. Christian Ahlmann and Zandycolle Z (sd: Caritano Z) were also in the spotlight in Wiesbaden. They ended seventh in the final with one point for time, after an earlier seventh and second place. Zandycolle Z was bred by Studfarm Zangersheide and has the same dam line as the six-year-old Z stallion Cascol Z.

Peter Moloney from Ireland brought Compelling Z to Wiesbaden. This stallion bred by Carmel Ryann combines the blood line of Chellano Z with that of Carthago Z. Compelling Z rode two competitions in Germany. After a victory in the 1.45m speed class, he continued with a third place at 1.55m level.

Zoe Osterhoff guided Cosmos Star de Tiji Z (Cavaggio x Quick Star) to an eighth place in the 1.50m accumulator.
