Victory 5* GP WEF to Ladriano Z

12 / 02 / 2018
The victory of the first five-star Grand Prix of the Winter Equestrian Festival in Florida went to Ladriano Z and the Israeli Daniel Bluman. Of the forty starters in the GP, barely two remained clear. Bluman and the ten-year-old Ladriano Z were lucky enough to be the last starters in both rounds and to adjust their plan accordingly. They rode a stride less from obstacle one to two and thus secured the victory and the $384,000 prize money. Ladriano Z is a brown gelding of Lawito x Baloubet du Rouet. He is bred by Paul Schockemöhle from the German Steinfeld and is currently owned by Over The Top Stables LLC.

Bellefleur PS Z and the American Olympic gold medalist Ward McLain gained a double hit at 1.50m level in Wellington. The nine-year-old Bellefleur PS Z is an offspring of Berlin x Quidam de Revel and saw the sun in Lanaken at Peter Simons.

In the 1.40m one-star GP of Teheran, DJ van de Kattenvennen Z (Darco x Carthago Z) became third with the Iranian Maziar Jamshid Khani in the saddle. The ninth place went to the Z-horse Centoria B Z (Cento x Township xx) and Alireza Alirezaee.
