WB victory for Jonkheer Z

17 / 11 / 2012
In Las Vegas the American Karl Cook dominated in the World Cup class. He won with the 10-yr-old stallion Jonkheer Z (Jet Set D x Skippy II) and came second on ABS Conquistador. Jonkheer Z was the only one of the four horses in the jump-off to go clear. With one jumping fault Charlie Jayne finished in eighth place on Waldman Z (Cannabis Z), after same combination already finished fifth earlier this month in Washington’s President’s Cup. Winning stallion Jonkheer Z was bred by the Belgian Gustaaf Hayen and has a full brother who is another international GP winner called Bariano van Westleven (ex. Sam Polleunis). In addition, Jonkheer Z descends from the lineage of silver medal winner in Londen, Eurocommerce London. He has stood at stud for a while at Studfarm De Vier Dagmalen from Karel Boonen and was later sold to Cook via Tal Milstein.
