Young Z-horses in Oliva Nova

25 / 01 / 2018
The second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour part 1 has started. The first day only consisted of clear rounds, but in the meantime there is also a ranking. Among the five-year-old horses the best Z-result was for the Belgian Julien Macedoine. He finished with his own breeding product Cassarino Z (Cassaro Z x Ramzes) clear in 39.42 seconds, which was good for a second place. They just missed out the victory.

Loic Cannaert and E-Risingson Z (Elvis ter Putte x Concorde) ended in 40.29 seconds and turned fourth. With four penalties in the jump-off, there was a tenth place for the Italian Matteo Checci and Call Me PS Z (Cristallo I x Carthago Z). Julien Macedoine also finished twelfth with Belle Fee Sauveniere Z (Bamiro x Exploit de Roulard). Belle Fee is a granddaughter of Venue d'Fees des Hazalles, the former GP horse of Fabienne Daigneux-Lange that was sold to Eve Jobs last year.

At the six-year-olds, the French Yoan Lebouteiller just fell out of the top three. He finished with Die Hard Of Roses Z (Diamant de Semilly x Cristo) in 35.03 seconds, which turned him to the fourth place. The Italian Serena Curcio ended sixth with Dinamit STB Z (Diamant de Semilly x Habsburg), which was bred by Luc Vermeir from Opwijk. Don Corleone 111 Z (Der Senat 111 x Ideal de la Loge) and the Slovakian Radovan Sillo were tenth with one time fault in the first round.

At the seven-year-old show jumpers, nine of the 38 combinations were qualified for the jump-off. Maria Magdalena Celotto gained a fifth place with Nabaska De La Falize (Nabab de Reve x Papillon Rouge) after a clear round in 49.86 seconds.
