It was bingo again for several Z-horses. In Rome Mclain Ward did not only win the GP on HH Carlos VHP Z (Chellano Z) but he was also the best rider in the 1.50m classes on Thursday and Saturday. Lissabon also had a CSIO in its programme, this one from the second division. In the GP there was a second place for the Belgian Dominique Joassin on Best of Opus Dei Z (Balou du Rouet), who also in the Nations Cup had only one fault. In Chantilly, in the margin of the Global Champions Tour, the second place in the CSI2* Grand Prix on Sunday-night went to the French Pierre Cabochette on Magique vh Moeshof Z (Mozart des Hayettes). Okidoki vh Gelutt Z (Omar) poured the icing on the cake on Sunday-night in Bonheiden by carrying Sam Polleunis to victory in the CSI2* GP. Thierry Goffinet and Artuur JH Z (Andiamo Z) finished third there. There also was a CSI3* in Samorin, Slovenia, where Joy Lammers finished fifth with one fault in the jump-off of the GP on Taura vh Dingenshof Z (Tornado).
