Zeta de Hus Z put down

19 / 03 / 2013
During the Sunshine Tour Zeta de Hus Z made her comeback under Michel Robert. This daughter of Zandor Z had been out of action since the Olympics because of an injury. On the Saturday she jumped a clear round over 1.45m, but in the jump-off things went wrong. She took off one stride too soon for a fat oxer. Both rider and horse had a fall. Zeta broke one of her hind legs in three places. This left her rider and her owner no other choice than having her put down. Zeta de Hus had her best performances under Kevin Staut at GP level, before the relationship with Zeta’s owner Xavier Marie went sour. Zeta was born in Belgium at mister Jans from Riemst. She was sold via Picobello Horses and Mario Piasecki.
