15 stallions selected for the 2nd day in Deauville

16 / 02 / 2019
In the French Deauville, the stallion approval of Z-France is currently running at full speed. After a successful first day, the jury consisting of Eric Levallois, Luc Tilleman and Heinz Meyer selected 15 stallions to show their qualities again tomorrow.

The day started well thanks to number 1, Gentleman de Circee, shown by his breeder Caroline De Faucigny. This son of President x Le Tot de Semilly is out of the dam line of Idalpha de Loiseliere (CSI 1m60 with François Bossu), Lolita de La Loge (CSI 1m60 with Roger-Yves Bost) and Fandagno X (CSI 1m60 with Gianpaolo Cinti). Also number 2, Glasgow de Riverland, a son of L'Arc de Triomphe x Diamant de Semilly presented by breeder SCEA Riverland, is selected to show his qualities again tomorrow. Glasgow also comes from a very good maternal line: he is closely related to CEVO Itot du Chateau (CSI 1m60 with Edwina Tops-Alexander), Calimero of Colors (CSI 1m60 with Ivan Camargo), Tinka's Hope (CSI 1m60 with Demi van Grunsven), Amande du Chateau (CSI 1m60 with Sebastien Pellon Maison) and so on. The next stallion who convinced the jury to return tomorrow was the number 7, Cacharel de Muria Z. This son of Contendro I x San Remo is presented by his breeder Barcelo Matthieu and comes out of the same dam line as Chanel Z (CSI 1m45 with Lorenzo de Luca) and W Piccolini (CSI 1m45 with Farhang Sedeghi). Also number 8, Garou des Forets jumped well. Garou des Forets is presented by his breeder Fabrice Paris. This son of Cornet Obolensky x Ugano Sitte is related to VDL Zirocco Blue (CSI 1m60 with Jur Vrieling) and Nicos de la Cense (CSI 1m60 with Niall Talbot).

Next it was the number 12, Globe de Riverland, a son of Aldo du Plessis x Kannan bred by SCEA Riverland, who convinced the jury on this first day. He carries special genes, since he is related to none other than Quidam de Revel (CSI 1m60 with Hervé Godignon)! The number 14, Chaccotino Z, ensures the presence of the valuable Chacco-Blue blood. Chaccotino Z was bred by Henri Combes out of a Caretino dam and is now presented in Deauville by C&G Horses. The number 15, Burberry DK Z, has a very special pedigree. This son of By Ceira d'Ick, bred by Haras d'Ick, descends from Teekitiezzie de Muze, a daughter of For Pleasure who jumped at 1.45m level herself under Cedric Bellanger. She already produced three international offspring with Go Easy de Muze (CSI 1m60 with Darragh Kenny), Hocus Pocus de Muze (CSI 1m55 with Harrie Smolders) and Iceman de Muze (CSI 1m60 with Riley Schuyler).

Over to number 18, Diamo de l'Anglissant Z. This Dominator 2000 Z-son was bred by Eric & Johanna Herbeuval and is now presented by Jauris Tamssom. On the dam side we see the blood of Broere Pacific and also Samorkus (CSI 1m45 with Dirk Demeersman) and Unamorka FZ BZ (CSI 1m45 with Carlo Codecasa) are family of this Diamo. The second breeding product of Fabrice Paris, number 20, Glamor des Forets, may also return tomorrow. This son of Contendro I x Le Tot de Semilly is a half-brother of the 1m60 jumping Ulysse des Forets (Steve Guerdat) and the 1m55 jumping Unanime des Forets (Louis Bouhana). The tenth stallion invited to come back by the jury is the number 23, Gold de Riverland. Just like Glasgow de Riverland, this son of L'Arc de Triomphe is bred and owned by SCEA Riverland. This time we see the blood of Cumano on the dam's side: mother Roumba Sange even jumped at CSI 1m40 level herself under the saddle of Roger-Yves Bost. Also number 24, Happy Dream de Septon, bred and owned by Val de Somme SPRL, did well. This son of Happy Felix Hero Z x Nabab de Reve has as granddam the fantastic Reine-Fee des Hazalles who jumped at 1m60 level under Fabienne Daigneux-Lange herself. That makes dam Dream-Fee Hazalles a half-sister of Vanues d'Fees des Hazalles (CSI 1m60 with Eve Jobs), Clever Fee des Hazalles (CSI 1m50 with Ugo Berrittella) and Baby Fee des Hazalles (CSI 1m50 with Fabienne Daigneux-Lange).

With the number 29, Titan Z, a son of Taloubet Z x Bout d'Zan II was presented by breeder Virginie Pare. Number 31, Charly de Will, is also invited for tomorrow. This son of Casall ASK x Cornet Obolensky was bred by Jürgen Hattebuhr and is now presented by Patrick Beudot. He comes from the same dam line as Commissario, who jumped at the highest level under Julien Epaillard. The number 32, Finger des Cabanes, is a son of Cirus des Cabanes x Jus de Pomme. His dam, Jans des Fontaines, gave in combination with Lando the 1m60 jumping horse Quicky des Fontaines (Mohamad Joubarani). In addition, Oscar des Fontaines (CSI 1m60 with Sara Vingralkova) is also related to Finger des Cabanes. Jean François Coursaud is known as the breeder, but he is currently being co-owned with SARL V & C Angot. The last stallion who will be able to make an impression on the judges tomorrow is the number 35, Pistoia du Bois. This Indoctro x Kashmir van Schuttershof's son descends out of the full sister to Reveur de Hurtebise who already won several 1m60 classes under the saddle of Kevin Staut. Hendrik Vandorpe is the breeder and presenter.

There is one stallion who already got his final approval today. This is Vancouver de Lanlore, a 10-year-old son of Toulon x Le Tot de Semilly. Vancouver de Lanlore was bred by Anne Dafflon and jumps at the highest level under the saddle of Penelope Leprevost. Two weeks ago, the duo finished second in the CSI3* Grand Prix of Offenburg, while they noted one time penalty in the World Cup in Lyon, after already jumped clear in the CSI5* -W Grand Prix of Lyon the day before!

In total, 49 stallions were presented today.
