Aganix, Cicero and Dominator offspring advanced for KWPN performance test

01 / 02 / 2019
Currently the KWPN stallion show takes place at the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch. The KWPN approval consists of a number of selections. After the first, second and third round viewing, stallions can qualify for the final phase: the performance test. Among the 42 advanced jumping stallions for the performance test, there are also offspring of Aganix du Seigneur Z, Cicero Z van Paemel and Dominator 2000 Z.

Alabama Shake AG Z is a son of Aganix du Seigneur Z out of a Spartacus dam, bred by A. Gisbertz from Beek. Louis W combines the jumping genes of Cicero Z with those of Mermus R. This brown stallion was bred by J.W. Greve and Willem Greve Sport horses from Markelo. The Dominator Z x Hors La Loi II offspring who is advanced, is called Lambourgini. His breeder is J. Van Kooten from Montfroot.

All three stallions will participate at the 50-day performance test in which the natural sport talent of the stallions is evaluated. During the performance test, the stallions are cared for under standardized conditions and trained by professional riders with large experience in training young horses to top show jumpers. The riders then give their findings to the stallion inspection committee regarding their feeling about the stallion. The performance test also includes evaluations of stable and training behavior. If a stallion passes the performance test, he is KWPN approved.
