Sunshine Tour week 1

In Vejer de la Frontera a new edition of the Sunshine Tour has been kicked off. Under the Spanish sun’s rays sport horses are preparing for the outdoor season.

Straight away at the opening day Henk Van de Pol took the victory in the 1.40m medium class with his nine-year-old Looyman Z (Numero Uno x Wellington). The day after, this duo became second in the 1.45m big class.

Johny Pals won a 1.40m speed class with Balou Z (Balou du Rouet x Air Jordan Z) and rode Arco Darco Z (Arko III x Darco) to the victory at 1.35m level. For Henk van de Pol there was another second place, this time with Spock Z (Startrek x Darius).

Boy-Adrian Van Gelderen also won a medium class with Davis Z (Darius x Oula Owl xx). Max Routledge finished third with Caruso d'Eres Z (Calvaro Z x Radiator).

At a height of 1.40m, Omer Karaevli took first place with the nine-year-old Cheston de la Pomme d'Or Z (Chippendale Z x Contendro II). In the CSI2* Grand Prix, Kayleigh Watts jumped to a fourth place with Ninkie de Vy Z (Nonstop x Fidji du Fleury.

With a fast pace, Grégory Wathelet guided the six-year-old Sceska ET de la Falize (Hunter's Scendix x President) clear to the finish line in the class with two phases for six-year-olds. They got rewarded with a second place. Sceska has the same dam line as Identity Vitseroel, the Air Jordan Z mare that is successful at 1.60m level with Christophe Vanderhasselt.

Juan Pablo Garriz from Lithuania also finished in second place with Daylight vh Maressahof Z (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel) at a class for six-year-olds.

At the five-year-old Inge Carton was placed third with Electrique van het Cauterhof Z (Emerald x Voltaire). The Swedish Frida Berggen became fourth with Dreamboy Z (Dicasi O.H. x Grandeur).
