Next to the international show of Dinard in France, a second five-star show took place last weekend with the famous show of Hickstead in Great Britain. Here too there was blue/yellow success during the CSIO5* GP with a podium place for the Brazilian rider Pedro Veniss and his 12-year-old chestnut gelding Nimrod de Muze Z, a son of Nabab de Rêve and Tinka's Boy who was bred by Eric Polfliet. Veniss and Nimrod de Muze Z remained clear in the basic round and were one of the 9 combinations that managed to qualify for the jump-off. They also managed to set the fastest time in 56.48 seconds, but a fault on the second element of the double combination ultimately kept them from victory and ensured that they had to settle for 2nd place in the ranking.

The day before, the American lady rider Laura Kraut managed to jump into the spotlight with the 9-year-old chestnut stallion Campari van Paemel Z, a son of our grey stallion Cicero Z and Lys de Darmen who was bred by Stoeterij van Paemel BV. During the 1.45m high Speed & Handiness class they ensure a clear round and this performance earned them a 7th place in the ranking.

Also a 7th place was reserved for the Swedish lady rider Angelie Von Essen with the 11-year-old stallion Happiness DK Z (Hooch x Andiamo Z – B: Stal de Krochten). They managed to achieve this 7th place during the 1.45m high speed class on Thursday.
