Our Zangersheide stallions clearly leave their mark during the various auctions in these last weeks of the year. The Verden Stallion Licensing 2023 Auction took place in Verden, Germany last Saturday and the two most expensive horses of the evening had one of our stallions as their father.

The absolute highlight of this auction was catalog number 5, a son of Aganix du Seigneur Z and Eldorado van de Zeshoek, who was bred in Germany by Antonius Schulze and who also comes from the same damline as the stallions Cornado NRW and Cornado II Z. These separate jumping 2.5-year-old stallion attracted a lot of interest and was sold to a German buyer for an absolute top price of no less than 175,000 euros.

But the second most expensive stallion of this auction also has blue/yellow blood running through his veins and that was catalog number 43, a son of Taloubet Z and Chacco Blue who was bred by Johannes zur Lage and who is closely related to the GP- horses Commissar Pezi (Commissario) and Portofino (Lord Pezi). This stallion also found his new owner in Germany and this for a among of 165,000 euros.
