The Zangersheide horses performed very well last weekend during the international shows in North America! At Wellington International there was already the GP victory of the American rider Kent Farrington and his mare Toulayna (ex Toulayna van het Bloesemhof Z - Toulon x Parco - F: Jasper Doucé) on Saturday evening, but also on Sunday during the CSI4* GP of Coapexpan, Mexico, we got a Zangersheide horse at the top of the ranking. The victory here went to the Mexican rider Arturo Parada Valleo with the 14-year-old grey mare Chica B Z, a daughter of Canturano I and Berlin who was bred in the Netherlands by L.C.J Berben and J.L.J. Berben and who could be seen a few years ago under the saddle of the Swiss rider Martin Fuchs. Parada Valleo and Chica B Z already jumped to a 10th place in the 1.50m class on Friday and were one of the 4 combinations that managed to stay clear in the basic round during the CSI4* GP. In the jump-off the duo repeated this performance and with a finish time of 39.14 seconds they were more than one and a half seconds ahead of the competition.

The CSI2* GP of Coapexpan took place the day before and here it was Parada Valleo's compatriot Juan Jose Salinas Pasalugau who jumped into the prizes with the 10-year-old mare Corona Z (Crown Z x Happy Villers – B: Geraldine Hieronimus). In a jump-off for which 10 combinations were able to qualify, they again kept all the poles in their cups and this performance earned them a 6th place in the ranking.

During the opening day on Thursday we got another blue/yellow victory thanks to the Mexican lady rider Luciana Roberberta Gonzalez Guerra with the 10-year-old mare Cardenta 2000 Z (Cardento VDL x Quidam de Rêvel – B: Stud 2000). During the 1.40m class, this duo kept it clear in both the 1st and the 2nd phase and they also had a lead of more than one and a half seconds on the competition.

Finally, also the Colombian rider Ruben Arroyave managed to jump into the picture with the 11-year-old mare Valeska Z (Van Gogh x Balou du Rouet – B: Nadine Resche). They became 2nd during this 1.40m class on Thursday and repeated that performance again during the 1.40m class on Sunday.
