After the class for the 5 and 6-year-old stallions, tonight it was looking forward to the class reserved for the 7-year-old stallions. A total of 14 combinations appeared at the start during this 1.35m class and 6 of them managed to advance to the jump-off after a clear round.

It was the Belgian rider Pieter Kenis who claimed the victory with the BWP stallion Quicksilver C, a son of our grey stallion Cicero Z and Dominard who was bred by Roshoeve NV & Cria de Caballos De Deporte C. The duo won last month already the first round of the Belgian Stallion competition and continued that good form during this class. As the first combination at the start, Kenis stopped the clock in 34.72 seconds and with that beated the competition.

Second place went to Christian Ahlmann with our stallion Querido VG Z, a son of Dominator 2000 Z and Darco who was bred by Alois van Gorp and who also made a lot of impression yesterday during our Zangersheide Stallion Presentation. As the penultimate starter, Ahlmann and Querido VG Z made an ultimate attempt to surpass the performance of Kenis and Quicksilver C, but ultimately fell short of victory by 5 hundredths of a second.

For Valentijn De Bock and the BWP stallion Quannando B&V (Kannan x Emerald van 't Ruytershof - B: Valentijn De Bock and Bart Van Poucke) there was a 3rd place in the ranking. They also kept it clear again in that jump-off and this in a time of 35.16 seconds.

Koen Vereecke with Quickly V/D Kruishoeve (Moito van het Hellehof x Fantomas de Muze – B: Eric Polfliet) and Guy Janssens with Energy Van 't Breezerhof Z (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Bentley van de Heffinck – F: Wim Van Hoof ) followed in 4th and 5th place.
