Stallion Approval Deauville 2026

For the 13th year, Studbook Zangersheide VZW is organizing its stallion approval on March 14 and 15, 2025 in Deauville (F). 
The stallion selection is open to all stallions aged 3 years and older, registered with a recognized sport horse studbook (member of the WBFSH), and will be judged by an international jury:

• Candidate 3-year-old stallions are judged on conformation exterior inspection in hand and free jumping.

• Candidate stallions of 4 years are judged on an exterior inspection in hand and free jumping or jumping a standard course.

• Stallion candidates aged 5 to 12 years will be judged on hand and on a standard course.

• Stallion candidates age 13 and older will be judged by hand on their official athletic performance.
