36 stallions approved!

The new Zangersheide-approved stallions are known! Over 100 stallions were presented this weekend at the second edition of ‘The Zangersheide International’ at Sentower Park to our expert stallion selection committe, consisting of Heinz Meyer, Luc Tilleman and Eric Levallois. After a first selection of free jumping, 58 young stallions of 3 or 4 years old received the green light yesterday to appear in the ring again today for a second and decisive presentation. 36 of them showed again today that they can become an added value for breeding in the future and were therefore approved for the Zangersheide studbook.

If we take a look at the pedigrees of these stallions, we see that there are 2 stallions who each have 4 offspring approved for breeding today. One of these stallions is our chestnut stallion Aganix du Seigneur Z, who already has across various studbooks almost 50 direct sons who acquired a breeding permit. Today he added 4 more with the stallions Asgreen 2000 Z (Aganix du Seigneur Z x Echo van 't Spieveld - B: Stud 2000), Amadeo van de Kloosterbos Z (Aganix du Seigneur Z x Colestus - B: Johan De Dyn and Jeroen De Dyn), Akteur (Aganix du Seigneur Z x London - B: Vullers & Otto Boje Schoof) and Avalanche vh Gerendal Z (Aganix du Seigneur Z x Carolus II - B: Ben Verheij).

But Aganix du Seigneur Z was not the only stallion to see 4 offspring approved, as this was also the case for Chacco Blue. Today he supplied the approved stallions Vulkano (Chacco Blue x Pilgrim Z - B: Suus Kuyten Horses BV), Cognac Vh Gebergte Z (Chacco Blue x Diamant de Semilly - F: Bob and Elke Janssens), Vielanti (Chacco Blue x Diamant de Semilly - B: Charline Hendrickx) and Chaccolino JL Z (Chacco Blue x Nabab de Rêve - B: Jos Lanksink).

Furthermore, the stallions Dourkhan Hero Z and Emerald van't Ruytershof each produced three approved stallions. For our stallion Dourkhan Hero Z that the stallions Remarkable Vd Watermolen (Dourkhan Hero Z x Comme Il Faut - B: J.W. Greve & Willem Greve), Dourking Hero Z (Dourkhan Hero Z x Kassander van 't Roosakker Z - B: Luc Henry) and Dynamix Z (Dourkhan Hero Z x Aktion Pur Z - B: Martin Dieckhoff), while Emerald van 't Ruytershof included the stallions Elroy Z (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Balou du Rouet - B: Kristof Paesen), Emmerson Hero Z (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Arac du Seigneur Z - B: Walter Matthias & Klaus Meiering) and Evolution HBC Z (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Cardento VDL - B: Haras Bonne Chance) saw their approval.
