Two-Day Breeders Trip to the Netherlands

On June 20 and 21, Zangersheide invites you on an exclusive two-day trip to the Netherlands. During this journey, we combine top-level breeding and international show jumping, with visits to several leading breeding farms and to CHIO Rotterdam, one of the most prestigious equestrian events in the Netherlands.

The Zangersheide Foal Championship in Exloo: the future of the sport

Our journey begins with a visit to the Zangersheide Foal Championship in Exloo, where Dutch breeders present their best foals. You will have the opportunity to see these young talents up close and gain more insight into the selection and judging process. What makes a foal exceptional? What does the jury focus on when making their decisions? These questions will be thoroughly explained during the visit.

Kinderdijk: Dutch Tradition and Culture

In the afternoon, we will make a stop at Kinderdijk, one of the most iconic locations in the Netherlands and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During this visit, you will have the opportunity to discover the typical Dutch landscape in a relaxed way, surrounded by its famous historic windmills and waterways. A unique opportunity to experience not only horses and breeding, but also a piece of Dutch culture and history during this two-day trip.

De Margaretha Hoeve: vision and craftsmanship

On the second day, we visit De Margaretha Hoeve, a renowned breeding farm where quality and vision are central. During the tour, you will learn more about their philosophy and approach, and discover how top entrepreneur Eric Berkhof is building the horses of the future.

CHIO Rotterdam: show jumping at the highest level

We conclude this two-day trip with a visit to CHIO Rotterdam, one of the most prestigious events on the international calendar. In a beautiful setting, you will attend the CSI5* Grand Prix and experience world-class sport up close.
