19 stallions selected for the second round

The Zangersheide Studbook’s autumn stallion inspection is taking place alongside the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses. Today, the selection committee assessed 31 three-year-old stallions during the free jumping and invited 19 of them back for the second round.

Having been assessed on conformation on Thursday, the stallions were able to demonstrate their qualities in free jumping in the indoor arena today. The committee members Eric Levallois, Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking and Stijn Van Campenhout, invited 19 stallions to proceed to the next stage of this stallion inspection process. Among them are four sons of Aganix du Seigneur Z and two of Ermitage Kalone.

These 19 selected stallions will once again demonstrate their talent during the free jumping session on Saturday 19 September from 11.00 am, after which it will be announced which stallions have been awarded the coveted Zangersheide stud licence.
