65 stallions through to the 2nd viewing of the Zangersheide stallion selection

This week, the fourth edition of 'The Zangersheide International' is not only the setting for a lot of international show jumping, it is also traditionally the stage for Studbook Zangersheide's spring stallion selection.

This event is known as one of the busiest and most visited stallion selections of the year and that was confirmed once again this year! Over 130 stallions were entered in the past weeks for this Zangersheide stallion selection edition 2026. After they had already been judged on conformation during the first day on hard soil yesterday, they appeared in the ring today for a first viewing free jumping. The stallion selection committee consisting of Eric Levallois, Tim Rieskamp - Goedeking and Stijn Van Campenhout this evening retained 65 stallions to make their appearance again tomorrow for a second viewing free jumping.

These selected stallions will reappear in the arena tomorrow from 09.00 for their second presentation free jumping.
