In Great Britain, the Bolesworth International Horse Show was again on the program last weekend. During the CSI3* GP on Sunday afternoon, several Zangersheide horses jumped into the spotlight with a leading role for the 15-year-old chestnut stallion Chat Botte E.D, a son of Casall and Darco who was born at the home of breeder Andre Vandepapeliere as Chat Botte du Ruisseau Z. Under the saddle of the Irish rider Billy Twomey, Chat Botte E.D became the winner of this CSI3* GP. In a jump-off for which 13 combinations were able to qualify, Twomey and Chat Botte E.D. remained clear again and with a finish time of 48.75 seconds they were the only combination that kept the time under the 50 seconds.

But Twomey and Chat Botte E.D were not the only ones who managed to ensure Zangersheide success during this CSI3* GP. The 3rd place also colored blue and yellow thanks to the British rider Guy Williams with the 11-year-old stallion Ernie Of Greenhill Z, a son of Emerald van 't Ruytershof and Caretino who was bred by Philip Gysbrechts. He also remained clear in the jump-off, but crossed the finish line in 51.10 seconds.

After having already achieved a 5th place during the 1.50m class on Friday, a 4th place was reserved for Williams' compatriot Yazmin Davis with the 14-year-old stallion Zanbowa Z (Zandor Z x Calvaro F.C. – B: Huub Jansen). They also kept all the poles in the cups in the jump-off. Finally, the Irish rider Richard Howley jumped to a 7th place with the 12-year-old gelding Consulet de Prelet Z (Consulent Z x Fuego du Prelet – B: Svo Trans Feka).

Also on Sunday there was 1.35m class on the programm in Bolesworth and here too we saw two Zangersheide horses in the top 10 of the ranking. There was a 4th place for the British lady rider Louise Saywell with the 14-year-old gelding Sharp Image (Calvados Z x Damoiseau d'Or – B: Jacques Chevalier Manoir De La Garette) and a 6th place for her compatriot Morgan Kent with the 8-year-old stallion Zodiak du Buisson Z (Zirocco Blue VDL N.O.P. x Dutch Capitol – B: Haras Du Buisson). Both managed to ensure a flawless performance in both the 1st and the 2nd phase.

Finally, during the 1.40m class on Saturday, there was also a 6th place for Billy Twomey with the 7-year-old stallion Ace of Hearts Z (Action-Breaker x Indorado – B: Ryton Live Stock E.machon P.ruck).
