For the start of the famous Winter Equestrian Festival, we still have to wait until January, but in recent weeks there has already been a lot of international action at Wellington International in Florida. Last weekend, a three-star show took place and during the CSI3* GP on Sunday we saw a Zangersheide horse at the top of the rankings.

It was the Irish rider Dylan Daly who jumped to victory with the 13-year-old mare Cinderella Z, a daughter of Chacco Blue and Juio Mariner xx who was bred in Belgium by Bram Coosemans and with whom Daly also finished 5th during the 1.50m class on Friday. Daly and Cinderella Z were one of the 4 combinations that managed to qualify for the jump-off and they managed to outclass the competition with a clear round in 39.79 seconds.

Furthermore, the American lady rider Catherine Tyree also managed to provide a strong performance during this CSI3* GP with her 11-year-old chestnut mare Camilla Z (Cliff 67 x Sandro Boy Junior – B: G.S. Groenveld). They also managed to keep all the poles in the cups in the basic round, but 1 penalty point for time kept them out of the jump-off and meant that they had to settle for 5th place in the rankings.
