After the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva and the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, last weekend there was also the start of the Atlantic Tour in Vilamoura, Portugal. During the CSI3* GP on Sunday afternoon, there was a podium place for the British rider Oliver Fletcher with the 11-year-old gelding Hello William, a son of Waldo Van Dungen and Stakkato who was born at the home of breeder Lissava Stud Farm as Willie Wonka LVS Z. Fletscher and Hello William remained clear in the basic round and were one of the thirteen combinations that managed to qualify for the jump-off. As the last combination at the start, he again managed to keep all the poles in the cups and with a finish time of 34.28 seconds they secured a second place in the ranking!

What just didn't work out for Oliver Fletcher with Hello William did work out for the British lady rider Chloe Aston with her 8-year-old mare Diatendra von Rocherath Z, a daughter of Diamant de Semilly and Contendro I who was bred by Edgar Stoffels. Aston and Diatendra von Rocherath Z won the 1.40m class on Friday, where they were about half a second ahead of the competition with a clear round in 61.20 seconds.

Furthermore it was also a top show for the French rider Titouan Schumacher with his 14-year-old gelding Eliot Brimbelles Z (E.T. Cryozootech Z x Diamant de Semilly – B: Haras de Brimbelles). Schumacher and Eliot Brimbelles Z appeared three times at the start during a 1.40m class and finished third once and fourth twice.

Finally, on Thursday there was also a podium place for the Dutch rider Niels Kersten with the 11-year-old mare Tippy Z (Tyson x Jetset-D – B: E. Ickenroth & T.H. Emans). During the 1.45m high Longines Ranking class they managed to secure a clear round and his time of 61.89 seconds was good for a second place in the ranking.
