With Estoril Z, Stud Farm Zangersheide proudly introduces a new emerging star. This impressive son of Daniel Bluman’s Olympic mare Sancha LS immediately captured attention during the 2026 Zangersheide Spring Stallion Approval with his commanding presence and outstanding talent. He combines reflexes, carefulness, and scope in a modern, athletic model.

Sired by Harrie Smolders’ Olympic stallion Emerald and bred out of the famous Sancha LS, who competed at the London Olympic Games, the Pan-American Championships, and the World Equestrian Games in Caen, and holds numerous 5* Grand Prix podium finishes to her name.

Granddam Sonora La Silla is herself a multiple Grand Prix and World Cup winner under Jan Tops and the producer of three 1.60m performers: Sancha LS, Tizmin LS, and Zodiac. In addition, she is the full sister to Beat Mändli’s World Cup winner Poor Boy and to Ralf Schneider’s 1.60m Grand Prix mare Pusteblume, the dam of Jos Lansink’s Grand Prix winner and Zangersheide icon Zandor Z.

For breeders looking to combine youthful promise with an established and Olympic damline, Estoril Z represents a compelling choice for the future.
