Z-approval for 14 stallions

The Studbook Zangersheide autumn stallion inspection, held during the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, resulted in 14 three-year-old stallions being approved. Once again, Aganix du Seigneur Z made his mark, with three sons exhibiting excellent jumping ability who were granted breeding licences.

Out of a total of 31 stallions presented, 14 were approved. The inspection panel, comprising Eric Levallois, Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking and Stijn Van Campenhout, was impressed by the overall quality across the field. “It is an interesting group of stallions with potential for both sport and breeding. It was good to see that several favourites from the free jumping on the first day performed even better today. That bodes well for the future,” said Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking.

Easy to assess
As well as the quality of the stallions, the committee was also impressed by how well the stallions were presented. “On the second day in particular, we gained a good insight into the stallions’ natural aptitude. And public interest proved to be high once again.”
