Zangersheide Online Foal Auction – Part 1 Wraps with International Success

Zangersheide Online Foal Auction Part 1 came to a close Tuesday evening with strong international interest and spirited bidding from across the globe, marking a confident start to the 2025 foal auction calendar. With active participation from both new buyers and returning clients, the auction once again confirmed that top-quality, well-bred foals with performance-proven pedigrees continue to draw global attention.

The top seller of the evening was the stunning Haley PH Z, a granddaughter of the famous Panama du Seigneur and sired by the great Heartbreaker. This exquisite filly commanded the evening’s highest price at €25,000 and was secured by Stable AMW in Poland, who continued their shopping spree with the acquisition of Diacornia Z, the German Z-Festival Champion filly, for €16,500, a clear vote of confidence in the next generation of elite showjumping prospects.

The eye-catching J-Orgeous SMT Z, a flashy, spotted colt by J-Nius Z, attracted serious interest from multiple international buyers. Eventually, and with some determined effort, a loyal Swiss customer secured the colourful colt for €22,000, placing him among the top lots of the evening.

France was also well represented this evening. Ecurie du Herrin secured two exceptional foals for their stables: the highly attractive Cognac Peguignon Z, a brother to Giulia Martinegro Marquet’s CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix winner Captain Morgan Weering Z, who reached €20,100, and Elcumara van de Witter Z, a powerful daughter of Eldorado van de Zeshoek Z from the renowned Roosakker dynasty, sold for €18,000.

With foals now headed to Poland, Switzerland, France, Brazil, Spain, Belgium, and Germany, the Zangersheide Auction once again proved its strength as a trusted link between the breeders and quality-driven buyers worldwide.
