Z-France approves 19 new stallions!

Stallion Approval
Z-France

PIXELS EVENTS

After quite a few stallions were already approved in recent weeks during the stallion approvals on Belgian soil, Studbook Zangersheide organized its tenth stallion approval in Deauville this weekend. This jubilee edition was again a successful edition, because over the past 2 days a total of 78 stallions were presented to our professional stallion committee consisting of Éric Levallois, Heinz Meyer and Stijn Van Campenhout.

Yesterday, all the candidate stallions were first presented on the hard, after which the 3-year-old stallions and some of the 4-year-old stallions were allowed to show their qualities during free jumping, while the other stallions were judged in jumping a standard course. Of those 78 stallions, 19 ultimately managed to convince our jury and they were therefore approved for Studbook Zangersheide!

Emerald van 't Ruytershof

When we take a look at the pedigrees of these stallions, the Emerald van 't Ruytershof factor was particularly strong during this Z-France stallion approval. Of the 19 stallions that were approved, no less than 6 stallions have Harrie Smolders' former tophorse as their sire. Here we saw stallions that come from the same dam lines as the GP horses Zarkava Hero Z (Zandor Z), Eldorado van de Zeshoek (Clinton), Twister de la Pomme (Nabab de Rêve) and Blueberry (HH Conrad Z).

Below you will find an overview of the new approved stallions:
